The Graffiti House (2022) proposes an artist residence that borrows ideals from outsider architecture such as Robert Bruno's Steel House. The house's form draws inspiration from graffiti geometry, and, like the illicit art practice, is intended to be self built in a guerilla installation.
This particular site, along a cliff face in Ithaca, New York, faces out to the town as both a three dimensional piece of graffiti and a canvas for spraypaint art - allowing residents and visitors to leave there mark on the city.
