Jasper Owen is a fourth-year architecture student currently enrolled in Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, set to graduate with a B.Arch. in May 2026. His schoolwork and research focuses largely on material circularity, public space and design to facilitate user autonomy and creativity.
Although he is studying architecture, he is similarly passionate about construction, art and product design practice and working at the intersections of these fields.
Jasper has worked summer internships for atelier RZLBD in Toronto and VMX Architects in Amsterdam. He has participated in week-long workshops with Corning Museum of Glass in Corning New York, and Slum Dwellers International and UN Habitat in Nairobi, Kenya.
Additionally, Jasper has worked on design-build projects for multiple Cornell Architecture Labs and has been consistently employed by the Circular Construction lab as a research assistant since early 2023.
