Corning Museum of Glass

Developed during a week-long workshop with the Vignelli center for design studies and Corning Museum of Glass, the branch vase was designed and prototyped with exact proportions but acts more as a legible template than an exact drawing set. 

The concept acknowledges and embraces the variation inherent in freehand glassblowing. The end result of the workshop was two collaborative pieces which follow the basic principles of the plan but tend much more towards organic final forms.
