Chutes and Ladders (2024) is a proposal for a mixed use development with 50 residential units and various automotive-targeted makerspace facilities and food stalls on the ground floor. the project seeks to emphasize and facilitate artistic expression that is characteristic of cities with abandoned infrastructure - graffiti and personalized muralism is encouraged and expressed outwardly through an exoskeleton. The project proposes a superstructure grid that allows for shipping containers to provide essential winterized and service-related interiors, while leaving room for users to build out their own spaces as they see fit.
